Almhutte in Ibbenbueren

The host is very unfriendly. When asked to leash his dog, he replied that everything was his property and that the dog was not leashed. Furthermore, he was from above and said that we can go on.

Unfortunately we were there on Monday, it was closed

Great place to rest in a beautiful walking area. Helpful staff.

Coffee, cake, sausages - everything was delicious. Sufficient distance is also provided.

Actually a really nice shop, but the landlord doesn't go at all. No self-control at all and make loud use of your house rules because children playing did not react to his loud roar. If he is to be happy himself in his Waldschänke, clear recommendations against it.

Alpine hut with a special charm, very nice service, the beer tastes particularly delicious here after a hike.

You just have to stop in this wonderful alpine hut! A short or longer "pit stop" can be easily endured there with a beer and the like. If you need a snack - the sausage is crunchy and delicious! The whole thing is rounded off with a loose schnack. Thumbs up!!!

Nice hut to take a break. Clean and groomed.

Looks great from the outside but don't expect to eat here or even enter on a weekday. Disappointed and deceived on a Thursday with 3 hungry teenagers - thought that we would have lunch but no food - *cash only* drinks and icecream from a takeout counter which had to be consumed outside, next to the trail. Also, no view from the observation deck on a weekday because you cannot enter. Such information should be made easily available from a website so that hikers can make appropriate plans.

Beautiful hut on the Hermannsweg, you have to stop here to refuel. You can only pay with cash. Friendly owner, did not have enough cash with me but received the order.

Great, especially with the weather today and despite the beer garden only open on weekends, enough opportunities to eat an ice cream.

Great view, both the outside and the inside great. We were there in February and were very nicely catered for in the cozy, beautiful interior with almost antique, beautiful furnishings ☺️

A nice stop in the middle of the forest on the way to the crouching woman. The selection of ice cream and drinks is manageable, inexpensive and the service is super friendly and invites you to linger. We always like to come here!

Too bad you can not buy drinks to go here. Tap water to fill up the supplies does not exist either. The in a hiking area ... very bad Addendum after the owner's answer: Thanks for the "friendly" (the same kindness as during my visit) Opinion. The garbage problem or the supply of water from the line, bri shines in this location completely. This has nothing to do with a McD. Only I asked friendly during my visit if there is a possibility to fill his water supplies. This was possible only with carbonated water. I would like to have bought still water. These were not offered. As I said: too bad! And after such an answer also a bit disappointing ...

Nice place for a drink. Avoid the nature park in weekends when a rock band is playing here loud, or bring earplugs during your walk through the park. Why they are not playing in town?

This cozy place offers the opportunity, among other things, to have a nice drink, or to take a terrace, or to look even further, or to take the stairs up and visit the viewpoint. You can also go to the toilet here for free. At the end of the stairs you have the last part of a wooden footbridge that leads to the lookout. Definitely worth it. The area is beautiful with the cliffs (rocks) and the Hermannsweg. The location can be found in the teutoburg forest.
